Qaewin Releases LP VIRGO BLUE

MARCUS FMG New LP 'The Genesis'

Congratulations Marcus on your LP The Genesis release and it looks like it's getting some hot listens too!

Why don't you share with everyone what's poppin?

I'm 43 on the rnb charts an I'm trying to get to 1 ;)

Yea, that's right! And with this collection we have to listen to, what visuals should we expect to see?

I'm currently working on the video for 'L.O.V.E' from the album.

And just so we all understand, one particular song may be misconstrued or misunderstood to mean something other than what it is intended, right?

Yea, the song about Beyonce an Blue Ivy that is on my album is not a ''diss'' song....but when you hear it you will know.....

HiriiThe Human 808's and Astral Tapes #808sAndAstralTapes

Are You On That A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean vibe?

HIRIITHEHUMAN is back again with more mind-zoning "Astral soaring", bass booming, slick lyricism to tantalize your ear drums with his latest mixtape 808's And Astral Tapes. You'll get the usual Hiri bad flows that you will be diggin all the way down whereas in between the familiarity you'll get a bit of the unusually odd and mind-boggling. The experimentation of the inner depths of an Artist's mind -brainstorming and forming the colors and shapes of their masterpiece ;-) I caught up with the continually striving for the best rising Bronx act on his new project to discuss its content as well as his objective for The New Year 2014 "Year of the Horse".

I noticed you dropped your mix-tape (EP) the 1st of the year. What are your objective or hopes as an artist with your music for 2014?

Musically my objective in 2014 is to establish my brand better , build a strong fan base ( 200 + ) , get more press nationally and internationally, have some indie labels look at my music , push 808s and astral tapes to the point where its official gone viral and at the end of the year I wanna be prepping for my first tour

Something to look forward to ;) surprises of the musical kind from driven artists can only be thrilling.

After all the hoopla and hype of NYE 2013 party people are wiped out and dormant until the New Year 2014 picks up. Are you one to create surprises for your Followers/Listeners (ANY strategic moves for dropping exactly at the 1st of the year)?

Yeah I have a couple tricks up my sleeve , some hiriithehuman self directed videos c, maybe for every song on the tape , some merchandise and a lot of other things ... Basically anything I think that can help build my brand up and get this wagon moving a little faster because the brand and the fan base is what's most important to me right now"

Rickstar [Official] Premiere video "Been Around The World"

Rickstar Tells Us How This Film Is His Art In Expression

This is a new sound (vintage hip hop) I just really wanted to make a crazy video - Rickstar

Press Release:

VIDEO OVERVIEW

Rickstar collaborates with innovative filmmakers, Daniel Tantalean, Jennifer Winterbotham, and Andrew Hendrix to create a cosmic love story as the backdrop for "Been Around the World". The music video creates a 90s throwback, yet futuristic look to highlight the journey Rickstar takes into deep space. He desperately attempts to construct a rocket ship to lift him beyond the New York City skyline, speeding him off into the stars to free his dream girl from a capsule floating in another galaxy.

QAEWIN [Kay-Win] releases EP Moment Of Clearance

Qaewin Tells Us How This Body of Work Is His Art In Expression

Starting with the title, I named it Moment Of Clearance because whatever purpose the project would serve in my discography, I wanted it to touch on every aspect of my life, and kind of just free a lot of demons, a lot of ideas, and tell the stories I've been wanting to get out into the universe in the best way that I can.

The project is exactly what the title infers, it's a long vent, spanning on topics of growing up, standing out, fitting in, relationships, second chances, and day to day life from the mind of a 16 year old boy.

Rap act QUiG (kwig) Video Art Spotlight

"For The Luv of her"

QUig Tells Us How This Film is his Art In Expression

The song came about months later, but of me finally opening up about a past ex-fling that kinda took me by surprise, as far as her being unlike any other girl I've ever met. As far as her originality and being so comfortable in her skin. I was very found of her and learned a lot about myself through her. Long story short, she disappeared. Never knowing the reason why allowed me to make small assumptions of her reason but I'll never know the truth.

C. Malloy is a very good friend of mine and growing musically as well. He has his wildcard movement. I penned the entire song but my singing isn't up to par so I requested his assistance and by no surprise he nailed it. I knew as my premiere video I had to give em a story and truth is the video turned out exactly how I pictured it plus some.

The director was very open to work around my ideas and we meshed all the way through. Everyone involved in the video were friends and I'm really excited about the next song and video "9ta5"

Terry McCarter releases single Seconds Away

Terry Tells Us How This Is His Art In Expression

The record "Seconds Away" was something I wrote generally to inspire people, something everyone could identify with. I had the thought of "If you live long enough there will be something in life that tests you to the point of almost giving up. But it's in those times when your fight is gone and you can't fix it that you realize God is the only one that can change this, so you pray and that's when you realize He is only seconds away.

The song was produced by my team GroundXero Entertainment, myself, my brother Jeremy McCarter and very close friend Calvin McHoward.

I'm currently working on a full album set for release mid 2014 entitled 8

Tony Sway LP ELEVATE Preview expected to release December 17!

Tony Sway [Official] video Premiere #Intoxicated

Tony Tells Us How This Film Is His Art In Expression

LS Films came up with the concept of me basically trying to get home, then I get stranded at some broken down gas station while my car is on E and my phone loses reception and all the above! So I'm basically trying to get home as soon as possible to my girl to be with her. We thought it would give the song a more meaningful vibe, instead of just doing the typical rnb video in a bedroom somewhere (no pun intended) and it keeps it safe for viewing of all ages.

Video Release "Come Up Missing" Yun 6 Canon ft Bently Bucks

YUN6 CANON Tells us about the ART IN THE EXPRESSION:

"The song with Bently Bucks and me self represent the life we live out here in south west Philly, We basically wanted to let the viewers know, people who live in the community and outsiders that if you play around with the streets you can come up missing, lost where no one will ever be able to find you again. Be careful what areas you go to and be careful who you portray yourself to be. This go for rappers as well we run our city. Black District Gang"
